The vibrators of the AM2 model range are the ideal machines for fine grinding and polishing of metal 3D printed parts/work pieces with complex surface geometries. The AM2 vibrators offer excellent process repeatability and a highly homogeneous (isotropic) grinding pattern. The robust design of these compact units easily qualifies them for 24/7 operation. The grinding or polishing effect is produced by the vibration induced into the work bowl causing the grinding or polishing media to continuously "rub" on the part surface. The finishing process is supported by the addition of water and special chemical compounds which are fed into the work bowl with high precision dosing systems.
